I am receiving the following error when doing the bundle install:
###
Gem::Installer::ExtensionBuildError: ERROR: Failed to build gem native extension.

        /usr/bin/ruby1.8 extconf.rb
extconf.rb:1:in `require': no such file to load -- mkmf (LoadError)
	from extconf.rb:1

Gem files will remain installed in /root/snorby/vendor/cache/ruby/1.8/gems/RedCloth-4.2.9 for inspection.
Results logged to /root/snorby/vendor/cache/ruby/1.8/gems/RedCloth-4.2.9/ext/redcloth_scan/gem_make.out
An error occured while installing RedCloth (4.2.9), and Bundler cannot continue.
Make sure that `gem install RedCloth -v '4.2.9'` succeeds before bundling.

####

Not sure what I can do to fix this...this is all in relation to installing snorby. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the comment, coneslayer. Note that just because Flickr is not showing the GPS EXIF data does not mean it isn't there! They're most likely omitting it because they consider it redundant with the location data displayed on the map. Anyone can still download your original files and view all EXIF metadata using exiftool, including GPS location, unless you follow my instructions above to systematically remove it.

I noticed two things recently about my geocoding and geofencing on Flickr:

1) I had a geofence set up around my home, to restrict the location to friends & family. One day recently, I happened to be looking at my photostream while logged out, and I noticed that the geofence was no longer having an effect. Both old and recent photos inside the fence had their location visible to anyone. After submitting a bug report (to which I have not received a response) I edited my geofence, without actually changing anything, and Flickr re-processed my existing photos, and the geofence seems to be working again. You may want to check on yours, just in case it's a widespread problem.

2) When viewing the EXIF for my photos on Flickr, whether the photos are inside the geofence or not, the GPS fields are no longer displayed. I'm pleased to see this development; as you point out, displaying the GPS fields made the whole concept of geofencing kind of pointless. (I didn't want to disable EXIF entirely.)

Solution

Most of people got this Permission Denied access when mounting a
Windows Shared folder

following mounting ->

usually : mount -t cifs /// /mnt/Shared -o username=,password=
give you error 13.

correct : mount -t cifs /// /mnt/Shared -o username=/,password=

Yes! the only deference is "domain name:" is missing. In case of No Domain try to put your there.
cifs does not locate domain itself (I guess).
